Yoga is a form of exercise that increases flexibility while strengthening muscles. Yoga helps to reduce blood pressure, anxiety, and centers your thoughts.

 

Basic yoga, power yoga, advanced yoga, hatha yoga classes.

 

 Details:

Level - Suitable for all levels

Class Length - 1 hour

Dress code – Gym & Training Attire

Schedule:

Thursday 9 AM
 
Sunday 3 PM

What do you do in a yoga class?

 In yoga class you are taught the postures and breathing techniques increase strength and lengthening muscles.  Each posture is used to stretch and strengthen specific parts of the body. Eeach yoga class is focused on the mind-body connection while using the breath. During yoga practice each student is also encouraged to embrace compassion both within and without ourselves. This compassionate approach is taught to go beyond the yoga class-room and bring a level of calmness and understanding to everyday life. Breath in yoga can be used to connect more deeply to the body.

What do you wear and bring to a yoga class?

Choose loose fitting clothing or clothing you can move easily in.  You might also want to bring a towel to place by your mat if you are more prone to sweating during exercise. You can bring your own yoga Mat or use one that is provided.

Can you do yoga if you have physical limitations?

Yes, you can, there are a variety of modifications to accommodate physical limitations with your knees, wrists, back, shoulders, and so on. Yoga should not be painful and if a pose or flow does not feel right your instructor is there to assist you.
